Mark Maio is a colleague of mine, who has been intrigued by silos for years and has quite an extensive portfolio of them.
All six acres of the Buffalo River’s Silo City is owned by Rick Smith, who hopes to convert the compound into a multipurpose facility for the arts, entertainment, design and industrial heritage.
There are a number of abandoned elevators, rich in architectural history and industrial design, and the perfect place to hold a workshop on shooting this type building.
