Pantone and Food Pairings

Pantone and Food Pairings

David Schwen created a fun project for his Instagram page called Pantone Pairings. Pantone is a system for matching colors, used in specifying printing inks.  You might recall that I wrote a blog post a couple of months ago about Pantone choosing the color of the year, Emerald Green.

What a unique and fun idea to pair food choices based on Pantone swatches!    This Minneapolis-based artist highlights in a limited edition collection how people pair various flavors.  You will see the quintessentially American ketchup & mustard, as well as peas & carrots.  You can see the entire collection at Food Art Pairings.
