For my regular readers out there, you will recall I have posted on the genius of Ferran Adriá a couple of times in the past (here and here). As evidenced by the number of exhibitions going up around the world, it’s safe to say that Chef Adriá has made a defining impact in the fusion of food and science even outside the kitchen —and how those two specialties have come together to form his own brand of art.
In accordance with The Museum of Science in Boston’s mission to enhance food education, they are showing an exhibit called Innovation in the Art of Food: Chef Ferran Adrià, that runs through May 26th.
The museum describes the exhibit as an experience showcasing Adria’s “unusual tastes, textures, and untraditional high-tech appliances.” It is shown along another exhibit: Our Global Kitchen: Food, Nature, Culture.
