You might remember the post I wrote nottoo long ago about the New York Public Library archiving restaurant menus in their Rare Books department. Here’s another project that is similar (are we sensing a trend here?). The estimable Culinary Institute of America, or CIA, has recently uploaded their restaurant menus, dating back from the 1960s.
The menus have been posted to the Hudson River Valley Heritage website, currently run by the Southeastern New York Library Resources Council, which is a non-profit organization that provides services in eight counties.
The CIA menu collection can be found at: www.hrvh.org.
